  • Introduces students to key terms and debates about the nature and characteristics of Political and Radical Islam.
  • Introduces students to regional perspectives on Political Islam in the Middle East.
  • Examines the evolution and ideological discourse of major contemporary Islamist movements and ideologies from both an academic and policy-oriented approach.
  • Offers students an understanding of the diversity of modern Islamism and Jihadism in a global context.
  • Features guest lectures by leading Israeli and international academics and experts.

  • The maximum recommended course load for the July Session is two courses.

  • Students who complete their summer course application by March 12, 2022, and who also complete payment by April 7, 2022, will be eligible for a 10% early bird discount on the course tuition. In the event that a student applies for more than one summer course, the 10% early bird discount will be applied to one of the summer courses only.
