Reserving Housing

• Students who are Israeli citizens or new immigrants and are applying for the Summer Ulpan and/or the Mechina Program must fill out the housing form found at: https://dorms.huji.ac.il

• All other students are personally responsible for completing and submitting the housing form below.

Students from abroad accepted to long-term programs or to summer courses at the RIS are allocated housing provided that they make their reservations on time. Space may be limited in the spring semester.  Housing for married students is subject to availability. First priority is given to couples where both are students at the Hebrew University.

Housing reservations for the summer programs must reach the Housing Coordinator by June 1. Reservations for students coming for the academic year must arrive by August 31 and for students coming for the Winter Ulpan/Spring Semester, by January 1. Please note that the program deposit must be paid before the reservation is confirmed. 

University housing is available only to students who reserve a place in advance and pay their tuition fees by the registration date. Late applicants cannot be guaranteed housing.

§          Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis to students who submit this reservation form and their program deposit by the appropriate deadline listed above.

§          Students with special needs are strongly encouraged to make the University aware of their needs early in the housing assignment process.

§          Rooms are not allocated before the financial registration dates that appear in our publications.

§          Students arriving in Jerusalem after 2:30 p.m. on the days of registration must find alternate accommodations for the night.
