The following is a comprehensive list of alternative sources from which our students have been known to benefit in the past. This is not Rothberg International School (RIS) funding. - Corinne Jeannine Schillings Foundation – Travel Study Awards available to Silver or Gold Award Girl Scouts with a 3.0 GPA or higher

- The Jerusalem Connection – Christian students from both secular and Christian Universities are encouraged to apply. Students from any degree program or area of interest of study are encouraged to apply.
- American Atheists – Two scholarships available for American students who identify as atheists
- American Jewish League for Israel – For students attending a full academic year program for credit
- Masa Israel – If eligible, automatic award of a US$ 1,000 grant; needs-based scholarships also available
- Helyn B. Reich Memorial Scholarship – The scholarship seeks to recognize candidates who have demonstrated academic excellence, pro-Israel activity in their personal lives and show a commitment to future involvement with the Jewish and Zionist community. Preference is given to candidates who decide to spend the full year in Israel.
- Hilda Specter Morgenstern Merit Scholarship – Awarded annually to an American woman who will study in Israel during her undergraduate education, identifies as Jewish, has a 3.5 GPA or higher, and demonstrates strong interest in public advocacy, public policy, or government affairs.

- Haas/Koshland Memorial Award – For undergraduate students from the San Francisco Bay Area
- Harold Grinspoon Foundation – For residents of western Massachusetts (Hampshire, Hampden, Franklin, and Berkshire Counties) and southern Vermont
- Hawkinson Scholarships – For undergraduate or graduate students who are residents of or are currently attending school in Minnesota.
- Kentucky Foundation for Women – Artist Enrichment (AE) grant for feminist artists and arts organizations to further their artistic development to create art for positive social change
