A limited number of Merit based scholarships are being offered to highly qualified candidates from universities throughout the United States who wish to study at the Rothberg International School.
Undergraduate:
Merit Scholarships
This scholarship award is in the amount of $5,000 for one year of study, and $2,500 for one semester of study. To be considered, candidates must have completed at least three semesters of university study, have a minimum GPA of 3.8 or equivalent and must be admitted to the One Year Program (for the entire academic year or the one semester option) at the Rothberg International School. The deadline for the autumn and full year scholarship is April 15; for the spring semester scholarship, the deadline is November 30.

RIS Levine Scholarship
The Louis Levine Scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student with a keen desire to further scientific knowledge in our ever-changing world.
Louis Levine was Professor of Biology at City College of New York for most of his career, and received his PhD at Columbia, where he was a student of the geneticist Th. Dobzhansky. He served as a longtime member of the Rothberg International School committee and we are pleased to honor him in this way.

Alfred P. and Jane Bergner Family Scholarship
The Rothberg International School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is pleased to announce the Alfred P. and Jane Bergner Family Scholarship. This scholarship fully funds an Undergraduate Study Abroad Program student’s program tuition. For consideration, the student must demonstrate that without the generosity of this award, their participation in a semester or year-long program at the Rothberg International School would not be possible. Academic achievement must be documented with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.7.

Graduate
Merit Scholarship
The Graduate Merit scholarship covers the program tuition fee. To be considered, candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree and have a minimum GPA of 3.8 or equivalent. Any candidate for an M.A. Program may apply and those selected will be eligible for a two-year scholarship, conditional on maintenance of academic performance. Candidates for any other graduate program and students with any previous graduate studies attendance at the Rothberg International School are not eligible to apply for the Graduate Merit Scholarship.
Each year, the deadline for the Merit Scholarship application is March 15 for the following academic year.
