Semester Hebrew Courses

Modern Hebrew language instruction with expert faculty is available at HebrewU on a semester basis, in both the autumn and spring semesters. Courses for international students are available to you through the Division of Hebrew Language Instruction at Hebrew University’s Rothberg International School (RIS).

New students who wish to study only Modern Hebrew as external students can register to the Semester Hebrew Language Program (external students will not be able to join the Practical Hebrew Courses). External student must meet the relevant admissions requirements.

The number of academic hours in each course depends on the level of instruction and framework of study. Students are placed into the appropriate class on the basis of their Hebrew level and academic background. Sufficient registration is needed in order to open classes.
