Rav-Kav Bus Pass Information:

Below you will find all the information you need to obtain a Rav-Kav card for the 2016-2017 academic year.

What is a Rav-Kav?

The Rav-Kav is a smart ride, multi-use card that may be reloaded with various types of ride tickets, such as multi-ride tickets or monthly pass. You need a Rav-Kav in order to benefit from any discounts (monthly pass, student discount) for Israeli public transportation (buses or light rail).

There are two kinds of Rav-Kav cards available:

1) A standard student discount- provides a 33% discount in Jerusalem and on inter-city lines – valid when purchasing a 15 ride bus/light rail ticket in Jerusalem, for 59 NIS.

2) Unlimited semester or annual student pass- allows you to travel unlimited within Jerusalem (including light rail) for a fixed price and gives you a 50% discount between cities in Israel (including the train).

To obtain a Student Discount:

You can receive a student discount at one of Rav-Kav’s issuing points (see list below).

You will need your passport, student ID and a signed certificate of enrollment.

You can obtain a signature for the certificate of enrolment at the office of Student Life (rooms 401-404).

Your certificate of enrollment can be found under your personal profile on the Rothberg website and you can print it in the library.
