Volunteering in Israel

Volunteering in Israel

Many communities have been affected during these challenging times and require more assistance than ever.

The Office of Student Life can arrange volunteering opportunities for you including:

  1. Cooking for people in need.
  2. Volunteering with Israeli refugees (since the October 7th massacre and the ongoing conflict on the Northern border with Lebanon, many Israeli families have been displaced) – including English private lessons, logistics, events, etc.
  3. Agriculture – planting, picking, and packing Israeli crops.
  4. Nature – cleaning up national parks.
  5. Connecting with Israeli NGOs dealing with different types of volunteering.

The Office of Student Life will support you throughout the volunteering process and develop a customized volunteering program based on the student’s preferences and the organization’s needs.

For more information, don’t hesitate to contact Gal, Director of the Office of Student Life, at gallom@savion.huji.ac.il
