Winter Session
We offer a number of short-term courses in December and January, which are open to those who need a break from the cold winter climates of the North, as well as students from the South who are on summer break. You can take these two- to three-week courses for credit, and experience Israel on the ground and at its greenest.
Students arriving for a period of less than 3 months from visa-exempt countries can apply for travel authorization and enter on a tourist visa, eliminating the need for a student visa. To check eligibility and submit the required form, please visit the following link.
Israeli & International Law: Mishpatim Seminar
This course introduces students to the Israeli legal system, while focusing on current issues at the core of the Israeli legal debate. As a participant, you’ll examine key issues related to the identity of the Israeli state – including Jerusalem, interaction with the Palestinian population in Israel and in the Occupied Territories, and the status of refugees. You’ll learn both in an academic environment and via several field trips, allowing you to experience firsthand the workings of the Israeli legal system.
Winter Volunteering Program
Since October 7th, volunteers from around the world have arrived in Israel to support Israeli society during a challenging time. This winter program offers participants the opportunity to contribute through impactful volunteer projects in Jerusalem and nearby areas, focusing on food distribution, environmental conservation, and community support. The program also includes a visit to the Gaza Envelope, providing insight into the events of October 7th and ongoing efforts to honor those affected and support residents returning to their homes.
