Discover the impact of Jewish mysticism on contemporary thought, art, and politics.

- Media, Terrorism, and Counter-Terrorism: October 7th, the Israel-Hamas War, and the Globalized World
Analyze the global implications of terrorism and counter-terrorism efforts, with a focus on the impact of October 7th.

As a participant, you’ll benefit from:
- Automatic Tuition Grants
- $1,000 for all participants
- $1,200 for participants in The Emergence of the Modern State of Israel course
- Travel Grants
- Up to $400, disbursed following arrival and the start of the program
- Housing Stipends
- Up to $400, disbursed following arrival and the start of the program (applicable for both on- and off-campus housing)
- Additional Need-Based Aid

On-Campus Dormitories:
A limited number of apartment-style dormitories are available for summer participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Located in the Scopus Student Village, these air-conditioned apartment suites offer each student a private bedroom and a shared kitchen, bathroom, and living space.
Living on campus offers a unique opportunity to connect with Israeli and international students, fostering lasting friendships and enriching your experience through cultural exchange. Our dormitories are conveniently located within walking distance of the university, with easy access to public transportation, local restaurants, markets, and Jerusalem’s vibrant city life.
Off-Campus Housing Support:
Participants who opt to make independent arrangements and reside off-campus for the duration of their summer program are eligible for housing stipends (see above).

- A non-refundable $120 application fee is required when submitting your application.
- A non-refundable $250 deposit is required to secure your spot in the program (credited toward tuition).
- Financial aid is only available for participants who complete the course.
- Travel grants and housing stipends will not be issued to students who cancel their participation.
- Tuition payments are refundable (excluding the $250 deposit) up until the program start-date. After the program begins, paid tuition is non-refundable.
- It is highly recommended to purchase trip cancellation insurance, as participants who cancel their participation will not eligible to receive travel grants or housing stipends.
- Housing refunds will only be issued to students who vacate the dormitories within the first 3 days of classes, with a $250 non-refundable fee deduction.
Travel grants and housing stipends will be disbursed upon arrival, after the program begins.
Our summer scholarship program is open to education professionals – both educators and administrators currently working in an educational ecosystem. To qualify, applicants must have successfully completed at least one year of study at an accredited institution of higher education. English-language fluency is also required.
As part of your application, you’ll be required to submit the following materials:
- Complete online application form in the “apply now” section
- Official copy of a valid passport
- Supplemental medical form, completed and signed by a physician
- Letter of recommendation
- Passport-sized photograph
- Disclaimer Form (for US citizens only)
- One of the following:
- Proof of employment at an educational institution
- Official copy of your diploma from an accredited institution of higher education, recognized by Hebrew University
- Official transcript from an accredited institution of higher education, recognized by Hebrew University
