RIS Merit Scholarships

A limited number of Merit based scholarships are being offered to highly qualified candidates from universities throughout the United States who wish to study at the Rothberg International School.

This scholarship award is in the amount of $5,000 for one year of study, and $2,500 for one semester of study. To be considered, candidates must have completed at least three semesters of university study, have a minimum GPA of 3.8 or equivalent and must be admitted to the One Year Program (for the entire academic year or the one semester option) at the Rothberg International School. The deadline for the autumn and full year scholarship is April 15; for the spring semester scholarship, the deadline is November 15.

RIS Levine Scholarship

The Louis Levine Scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student with a keen desire to further scientific knowledge in our ever-changing world.

Louis Levine was Professor of Biology at City College of New York for most of his career, and received his PhD at Columbia, where he was a student of the geneticist Th. Dobzhansky. He served as a longtime member of the Rothberg International School committee and we are pleased to honor him in this way.
