Full-Year and Semester Programs

Applicants to any Undergraduate program offered at the Rothberg International School (RIS) are eligible to apply for financial aid administered by the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA). The vast majority of the funds available are awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need. Generally, students who qualify for need-based aid at their home school will likely qualify for RIS need-based aid.

Summer Courses

A limited number of Summer Study Travel Grants is available for qualified American students with demonstrated financial need. The grants are offered to current undergraduate students, enrolled in a degree-seeking program at a US College or University, who wish to study in Israel at the Rothberg International School for a summer program. The grants provide up to $750, to be used toward travel expenses. Students enrolled in a semester or year-long program, or any graduate program, are not eligible to apply.

Regular University Degree Programs

American students studying at the Hebrew University, but not enrolled in a program offered by the RIS, are generally not eligible to apply for scholarships and grants administered by the OAA. Hebrew University students in a degree seeking program may be eligible to apply for a loan through a private lending partner, and should contact the Director of Financial Services  for additional information. Hebrew University students are also encouraged to research the Alternate Sources of Funding section for additional resources.
