The Winter Ulpan is an intensive Hebrew language course consisting of 100 academic hours. It is designed for new RIS students who begin their studies in the spring semester, but is also open to external students with an academic background. All applicants must have been accepted to a recognized college or university or have successfully completed at least one year of study at an accredited institution of higher education. High school graduates who have successfully completed their matriculation exams may also apply.
The Ulpan offers intensive study on four levels, Aleph to Dalet (Beginners to Lower-Advanced). Classes on level Heh and Vav (Advanced and Upper-Advanced) only open if enough students register.
