Summer Studies
The Department of Summer Courses and Special Programs offers participants short-term study abroad programs that enable students to combine an enriching academic experience with the opportunity to live and breathe the subject matter.
For over thirty years, the Department has offered stimulating, accredited summer courses to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as mature learners with academic backgrounds.
This summer, our academic program offers courses in the following areas: Israel Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies, International Law, Jerusalem Studies, Jewish and Religious Studies, Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, and Environmental Studies.
The program additionally offers a wide range of language studies, including Biblical Hebrew, Modern Standard Arabic and Colloquial Arabic.
Archaeological field schools are also offered, as well as special programs in Trauma and Resilience in collaboration with the Israel Center for the Treatment of Psycho-trauma, and Holocaust Studies in conjunction with Yad Vashem.
Various stimulating co-curricular and extracurricular activities, seminars, and trips complement these courses, providing students with an enriching social and academic experience that extends beyond the limits of the classroom.
The Department of Summer Courses and Special Programs also boasts cooperation with universities and colleges worldwide, who facilitate summer study abroad programs here on our premises, benefiting from our academic expertise and administrative support services.
